As you may be aware, federal courts recently issued a permanent injunction in the TiVo lawsuit against DISH Network.

DISH Network wants to emphasize that the injunction will have no impact on current or future customers because EchoStar's engineers have developed and deployed "next-generation" DVR software for the DISH Network DVRs. This improved software is fully operational, has been automatically downloaded to current customers, and does not infringe the TiVo patent at issue in the Federal Circuit's ruling.
